Coming Attractions!!

It is time. Time for my next big adventure...but this time it is in the other direction: Europe!!! I will leave USA on the 28th of April and return on the 22nd of May.

A FULL THREE WEEKS PLUS!!!

I will fly into Amsterdam, then take Eurail to Berlin, Prague, Vienna, and Munich. Presently, I will arrive on the 29th of April, just a day before Dutch's Queen's Day...which I have heard is suppose to be an all-day carnival like celebration. It should be lots of fun. Originally, I planned to arrive on the 30th, but my Dutch friend in Amsterdam said that it will be impossible to get into the City that day, let alone lugging luggage through town. So hey...just add another day to my vacation and travel a day earlier!

I am fairly familiar with Amsterdam, since I have been there twice...back in '97 and '98. I love that City...it is just beautiful (as long as I am not there during the dreadful gloomy days between December and mid April)!!! I really hope that I can live there for an extended amount of time someday. But the bummer thing is that I will not be able to get a job, since I don't speak Dutch....and it is usually not a language typical foreigners learn, because it really has no place in the modern economic society.

Hopefully, this weekend I will be able to book my lodging for the rest of my destinations....keeping it somewhere around US$40/night. I have asked my friend, who speaks fluent German, to help me book places...I don't want to be stranded in some disgusting awful sewage dump with unuseable toilets and crawiling cockroaches.

I AM A MAN OF ADVENTURE!!!!....with limits.
