Egon Schiele at Van Gogh Museum
Today I get to spend several hours at one of my favorite museums of all time: the Van Gogh Museum. Just several days ago, a new exhibition started: an impressionistic artist from the early 20th century named Egon Schiele. I have seen his work before, but never really knew the artist. At the end of the exhibition, there was a live modern dance performance, accompanied by a Japanese pianist - taking the very core aspect of Egon's figure works and put it into dance. It was a 40 minute dance spectacular. At some point it was so moving that I got a little teary eyed.
